Blind work, casting. Idk that's what I call it. Sending dog out on a blind retrieve and casting him/her to it.

Oh, from a pup I’ve been training with hand directions. I blind retrieve with him a lot! If all else fails, he falls for the rock trick every time!

Yah sometimes mine works other times I resort to the rock. I've learned to make sure I've always got some rock's ready.

Best training is a truck lot and have them retrieve mudflaps. They are easier to retrieve and taste better than ducks.
