My crew says I drive faster on dirt roads than on the Interstate. I've seen the look of fear in their eyes a time or two and we come around a New Mexico road with the a hard sideways slant. This morning as they talked about my offroad speeds, they were having some second thoughts about a Raptor, thinking it will increase their heart rate on those dark early morning races to the trailhead.
Hard not to think of the fear in their eyes as CW MCall and Earl come down Wolf Creek Pass when you hear.....
I looked on out of the window
And I started countin' phone poles
Going by at the rate of four to the seventh power
Well, I put two and two together
And added twelve and carried five
Come up with twenty two thousand telephone poles an hour
I says, "Earl, I'm not the type to complain
But the time has come for me to explain
That if you don't apply some brake real soon
They're going to have to pick us up with a stick and a spoon"
Some really great tunes.
Congratulations Big Fin on the new wheels
I kept hoping someone would play Red Dirt Road/ Brooks and Dunn. Not really a truck song, but if you find the right video it has pictures of trucks in it that we can all relate too
