Honey Badger don't care!

That's pretty funny. Hoping OSU gets a shot instead of a rematch. Alabama had their shot at home and blew it.

Honey Badger ain't afraid of no Cyclone. He don't give a chit.....funny stuff John and congrats to LSUisianna.:D

Am a big fan of OSU and our homegrown Markelle Martin...I'd love to see a playoff system, hell the BCS has more lobbyists that DC.

Alabama is only team in the nation I think who can make it an interesting game so Hook em Horns down with the COWboYS

The tide is the team that should be playing LSU in New Oleans. Just because it is a rematch that shouldn't figure into the decision, it should be solely decided based off who is number 2 at the end of the regular season.

I believe it will be a litte different game round 2 and I also think the tide will come out with the win.

That's one way to look at it. If Alabama wins the next game who would be national champion? Does LSU get a share even if they lose? Do they have to play a third game to figure out who is the best? It doesn't seem fair to make LSU beat a team that they already beat on the road.

The schedule against north Texas, Kent, and Georgia southern made alabamas road much easier than what osu went through with Louisiana, Kansas, and Tulsa. Not to mention winning their conference.

I'd still be amazed if it's not Alabama who gets to play.
If the longhorns and aggies would quit taking the top recruiting classes in the country and turning them into the 2 most underachieving football programs in the country the big 12 might get more respect. Heck k-state beat every team in Texas, that's embarrassing.

I don't believe winning a conference has anything to do with winning the national championship. Not all conferences are equal, do you think any other conference competes with the sec year in and out?

I don't think comparing the 3 bottom teams on a schedules show anything with strength of schedule. If you look at strength of schedule Alabama played 5 ranked teams vs OKlahoma 4. Then you look at who the loss came against, Alabama against #1 and Oklahoma state against an unranked team.

As far as the national championship game, which ever team wins it takes the honor. I don't 100% agree with the system but that's the way it is currently.

Big 12 does as well as Sec in their non conference schedule top to bottom. Sec is top heavy, big 12 is middle heavy. A few years ago Texas, OU, and Texas tech were just as dominant a division in their conference as LSU, Alabama, and Arkansas are now. They only lost to eachother.

The last time okstate played Alabama guess who won?

I'm still not convinced that the osu kick in regulation missed either.

It's kinda funny when you look at the Alabama, osu, and Boise st losses and it all comes down to a darn kicker. Too bad we are judging teams based on field goal kickers.

He'll be in New York as one of the five Heisman finalists. In my neck of the woods, they have given Collin Klein, K-State's do everything quarterback the nickname Honey Badger.

I can't seem to decide who got screwed more by the BCS, k-state or Boise st. Simply don't understand Virginia tech getting in.

K-state Boise State and the Razorbacks got screwed, Razorbacks lost to number 1 and 2 and still no love, Boise State is matched up against a 500 team that has lost to UCLA and Washington State will be a blow out and K-state was just screwed over bad lol BCS is so amazing

I agree. At least Arkansas and k-state play in Dallas. Looks like Boise st got the worst opponent with OU also not faring well. Too bad Boise st OU rematch would be a good game.

wyo, were you a fan of Miles while he was at OSU? He seems to be the most disliked winning coach in college football.

NHY,
He won bedlam a couple of times but at that time the team was a bottom dweller in the division behind sooners, longhorns, red raiders, and your aggies. The reason people don't like him around here is the way he ended his osu career and moved to lsu. It's tough for stepping stone universities that can't keep a top coach for more than a couple of years. Now that gundy has brought stability to the coaching job and a few hundred million later we get much better players like m Martin from your hometown.
I'm stunned your aggies fired their coach in such fashion. They were better than their record no doubt. I hope that give Phillip fulmer from tn a shot. He's won a championship and has lots of sec ties. Don't know about the Houston coach. Who are you pulling for?

Who are you pulling for?

Man, I don't have a clue. I'm a diehard Longhorn fan. Have never set foot in College Station...true. Hard to believe how A&M disappeared in the second half this season. I have many Aggie friends who are clinically depressed.
