I've got a box full of puppies...
My old gyp had 9 puppies this weekend. One of them died yesterday, but the rest are doing fine. I can't wait to start running them and they are only 3 days old. Nothing like the anticipation of seeing your pups start. Just had to brag a little on my puppies....:D

Do you guys feed your females any kind of milk suppliment when they are nursing?

Been there and posted Boomer.
I just feed more food when my females have had pups.as long as its a good quality feed with a high calory count. Some feed puppy chow.I do ween my pups starting at 3 weeks and have them totaly of the mother by 4 weeks.I start the pups with calf starter but don't give them to much for very long.Just till there eating solid food.
Hope they all tern out :D Good luck with them.

Tobey, What would be considered a high calory count for dogs? I am feeding a 22% protien and 10% fat feed right now. Sounds like I may need to up the two a little if some feed puppy chow.

Mine get fresh whole milk everyday.....wheather they have pups or not :D

Good luck with the pups Boomer! :D
