Hole in the wall good food....

Love the deer pics- thanks!

If you ever wander through the town of Polebridge, on the west side of Glacier NP, they had some wonderful food at the Northern Lights Saloon. Definitely a hole in the wall and our waitress was high as a kite, but man that food was great!

Best sit down fine dining is The Sacagawea in 3forks.

Up stairs or basement? I liked the basement better haha

If you walk in with camo and all grungy you'll feel more comfortable in the downstairs. But if you like what you see on the menu upstairs, tell them why you want to eat downstairs and if they say they don't care if you eat upstairs, eat upstairs. If they get why and are okay with it, see if they'll let you get that same food downstairs. Fine dining vs. bar food. For you, if I was in Three Forks I'd go the 5 or so miles to Willow Creek to eat at the Cafe. Not anything on the Sac, you just might feel more comfortable at the Willow Creek.

I've also heard really good things about the place in Lahood for prime rib.
