I live in Minnesota and have hunted whitetail for about 30 years. I usually get accused of having a horseshoe up my ass because I am usually pretty successful. I harvested a nice buck that’s in the show me thread this year.
My son (11) shot his first deer this year. That was a very proud moment and he did so well! He’s excited for next year and of course I am too.
I’ve hunted elk in Colorado with my brother every other year since 2016 (4x). I’ve taken two cows and in the other two years seen 0 elk at all. That is tough hunting; we put on lots of miles at high elevations, but it is my favorite. My son will join us in 2024.
