I need a second bear tag. These bruins are hanging around the house trying to eat my fawns. I know I have at least 4 fawns from 3 does hanging close.
He's after my fawns!

He will definitely put a hurt on those fawns if he hangs around. That does not look like a small bear, either. If he does not move on, he looks like a great candidate for an arrow come early fall.

You figure I can get him in my dog kennel? I could feed him road kill, and he could hibernate in my shop.

He didn't look big to me, but with the comments I had to go get some scale. I went and measured that little spruce behind his rump, it measures 45 inches tall. I don't know what that does, but it is some sort of scale.

If that's the tree height, I'd guess he's close to 3' at the backline and that's a pretty decent bear, so I'll stick with my guess on weight..
That'd make for some great before and after shots!

LOL. Only 2 cams on 10 acres. I am sure I am missing a bunch. One good thing, so far, I haven't found a lion kill nearby this spring, nor have I got one on cam. Every year for the past 5, one of those bastages has left me a stinky dead doe or doe/fawn, or a buck.
