Here's how to build rural economys

BUZZ, from reading your posts, I'd say you're real insecure about yourself, and you have to belittle others to compensate for your own insecurities.

Nice photo's and story.

BTW, before you go saying I'm divorced, I'll tell everybody here that my wife has a better income then I do also. She pays the bills, and I make enough to support my hunting and fishing addiction.

BUZZ, I didn't see were cjcj said he worked in the woods more then you. He said
quote:
...i`m sure i spend twice the time outdoor`s than you do , i wouldn`t count the time you spend in that section the gov`t has asigned you to watch over.

Ten bears, let me ask you a question.

I'm the one thats insecure eh?

Wouldnt it be easier to agree with you, michaelr, Paul, etc. etc. etc.?

Last I checked, insecure people tend to think its easier to agree and keep things smooth, rather than form and defend their own points of view.

I form my own opinions and paddle my own canoe, not exactly classic behaviour of the insecure guy.

As far as the barbing that goes on, everybody does it I dont think its an insecurity issue that anyone has. I think its entertainment.

I'll use one of Greenhorns all time best lines....if you still think I'm insecure.

Jimmy Crack corn...........

Buzz the reason i said your insecure is , if you don`t care about what other`s think of you then why bring in your wife? you seem insecure in that regard, ive got a playmate type wife that i`ve been married to for 25 yrs. and still look`s fantastic after two kid`s SO WHAT, do i have to show her pic. to everyone because someone on this forum challenged me? hey it`s ok to be proud of her and all of that, but to throw her out there to defend yourself seem`s insecure to me, i hope you make it, and by your post`s i would say i`m not the first one to tell you that you are insecure. by the way you are young hopefully you will grow out of it.

cjcj, if I was insecure about myself, my wife, the animals I take, etc. would I put any pictures up?

I like to see peoples pictures, especially of hunting and fishing stuff, I dont think they're insecure for posting them though. Theres not enough pictures on hunting boards...I look for pictures all the time. Most people are too insecure to post them, they got issues I guess.

Buzz these good wives are hard to come by so we better hang on for dear life!! It took me a couple times to get it right but this one has put up with me and hung around for 25 years. She has never said one cross word about my hunting and fishing and even goes some times, so we'd better take good care of 'em!! Ol Bob

Well, damn. I just make enough that my wife gets to stay home and raise our 5-year old son.

What am I thinking?

And yep - I'm proud to be able to do that.

Now when he starts second grade, she has to go back to work at her govamint job because the retirement she gets will support me in my old age.

Plus, then I can invest all her income to ensure that we can both play 'til we die.

wow, this has become the grumpy old men forum. I was mentioned by cjcj so i thought id post........even though ive never been in the hills on a Fatboy Machine so i obviously a "lifetime student" who knows nothing.

p.s., Buzz your wife appears to be a hell of a catch, congratulations.

See you all after september!

Buzz i`m not talking about pic`s in general, i`m talking about you using them in the context of going overboard to defend yourself to little comment, Rockypup your pathetic.

BUZZ, here's a little something about insecurity.

quote:
QUOTATION: A strong nation, like a strong person, can afford to be gentle, firm, thoughtful, and restrained. It can afford to extend a helping hand to others. It’s a weak nation, like a weak person, that must behave with bluster and boasting and rashness and other signs of insecurity.
