I’ve never quite grasped how this works… maybe somebody can help me..
When a group application(2 man group) is submitted in the WY big game draw do both party members get a random # in the drawing or does the group get one?….
It really doesn’t matter. I’ve already applied for elk this year but I’m still curious.
In other words…. By being in a group does an individual actually have more “names in the hat” ? If one member of the group draws they all do….. but does a group of 2 individuals have two “entries in the drawing” thereby increasing their individual odds?
I think I understand that the state will round up the number of tags if a group is selected and there aren’t enough tags for the whole group, so if I have a random # in the drawing and my partner does(in a two man group) does that improve our odds?….
math and statistics and probability aren’t my strongsuit….
Help me understand this please
