Help me pick a new Bino harness.

I have two Alaskan Guide Creations and have really liked them. But that being said I want one of the new Marsupial harnessses really bad. They look great and easier to use

I really like the Alaska guide one I have but it was bulky compared to the marsupial one. I have a pack so it’s not super important to have my entire hunting supply setup on my chest. I have the rangefinder pouch and that is it with a wind checker, chapstick, ear pro and a pack of waterproof matches in my harness and that’s it

Ive ran the super simple bare harness, I’ve have the Kuiu one, I’ve had the AGC max cub, and a couple Marsupial’s. One open side one enclosed.

Sold all but the marsupial’s. They just work well. I got a pistol holster on the bottom or if I am not in a very bear like area I can out a pair of hooks on the bottom that my bow string sits in while I quickly glass an area. I have a RF pouch on the right side and a standard case on the left. I put my calls in the front pocket and tags in the back pocket. I keep chapstick, my knife, lighter wrapped with electrical tape in the left pouch. Extra shells if rifle season also fit.

So why do people need all the stuff in a harness? Well for me if I needed to dump my pack to finish a stalk or speed up around a bend to cut off my target I can drop the extra weight and drop a pin on the gps to get back. I have everything on my then to make a kill and tag the animal before I walk the few hundred yards back to where I dropped my extra weight.

I also put my pistol in the back mesh pocket when it’s bow season and it stays in there pretty well. I have an sig m18 and I’ve had no issues. I would also like to get the hangers for a bow for the bottom of harness.

I’m loving my Stone Glacier sentinel bino harness. Sits perfectly in the center of my chest which is nice when in the prone, great range finder pouch and other add ons available. They’ve got a great mag / kestrel pouch too if you spend a lot of time on the range or just field shooting in the off season.
