Hey all,

Just thought I'd burn a post and say hi. Ran into Moosie over on the Monster Muley sight and decided to stop over here for a look see. Nice looking site.
Anyway, Like the name says I live in Kodiak. Moved here 2.5 years ago and love it so far. The taxidermy bill is a little hard to swallow sometimes though.

The Dall is 37" with 14 1/8" bases (13" at the 1st quarter). Green scored around 161", but he's shrinking. At 30 days he's right at 160" so I don't think he'll make awards. Anyway, it was an awesome hunt and a true trophy in every sense of the word. The billy is the same except he would make awards at 48.5" after a year of drying. Both animals came from very hard backpack hunts so they are both very special to me. I'll post the stories when things slow down this winter.
Kodiak has about 10,000 people on the roadsystem (NE corner of the island) 13,000 on the entire island. Also has 3,000 browns and 50,000 deer. The deer aren't very big but the bears are. Its a good thing they are pretty well behaved. Our shortest days are sunrise at 9:30 am and sunset at 4:30 pm. That is if the sun is out, which isn't very often in the winter.

Nice animals. Goats and sheep take a lot of effort, congrats. What range is that sheep from? Please let us know the details when you have time.
