Born and raised in Wa. I have been planning my escape for a few years now. Got 4-6 years left here. I spend as much time as I can in Mt/Wy. Recently drove over to Broadus just to look around for shits and gigs(Scouting). So far just deer hunting but hope to draw elk next year. This will be my 3rd year in a row hunting out of NE Mt. I just wanted to introduce myself. You all take care!

loved the whole thing. cept maybe the ride home. i always start to feel like shit when I crest Lookout Pass. went to see the country for a possible deer/lope hunt.

I went to get a lay of the land and picked out a couple of camp sites. Did an area change from my summer scouting trip. Good luck on your hunt and enjoy the forum.

its pretty cool up there. as long as it stays below freezing. if it thaws out shit gets scary slick.
