Hello, I'm a grandpa. My son and I are taking his four kids (my grandkids) on their first western hunt this fall. The grandkids are hunting and we are just mentoring. Two of them have several whitetails under their belt and are ready to try for elk. The three old enough to hunt elk have drawn cow tags (2nd rifle) in Colorado. Their dad will probably pic up some OTC bull tags when we get out there. First time to Colorado for any of us. My wife and I may fly out several weeks early for a few days to check the area out. Not that elk would be there at that time, but just so we can see the lay of the land.

We used to hunt the Big Horns north of Ten Sleep. Many good memories and a few antlers on the wall.
