Hello everyone first forum I have ever been a part of. And this one fits me best I love hunting public lands. Looking forward to continue learning on here every way I can. I try to head west twice a year some times three times if I'm lucky enough. I set aside a week every year to chase elk and a long weekend for deer later in the season. All my out of state hunting has been in MT, SD and once in WY. Will get to other states in the future when I cash in my points. My plan (right or wrong) is to get points (mostly elk) every year in 5 states and go hunting in each state rotating every 4-6 years. Not a fan of waiting 15+ years for any elk tag but with 4-6 points I can draw areas a little better than the OTC tags...??.. Hi from Minnesota
