Been out for a while so sorry for not actively doing my moderator job.

I was busy with retiring, moving and renovating my house. Plus the movers broke the computer and we finally got the claim settled and a new one hooked up.

Congrats on your retirement. Looks like you moved south to Anchorage. BRAC scare you off? I hope to be getting an assignment to Elmo next Jun or so. Gonna be a long shot, but hopefully there is a seat in one of the two AWACS there.

So what will the new "Mr." Erik be doing as a civilian?

Retirement feels good (so far). At the moment I'm in line to be a co-worker of 300WSM--pipeline security. Doyon says they're "very" interested in me, but new positions are tight right now as they lost a few in recent contract negotiation with the Port of Anchorage. So I'm standing by over at Sportsman's Wharehouse--archery and hunting.

The brac was never an issue for me. I was already out when it came out and Iwas alway going to move back to Anchorage anyway. I was at Elmo 91-98. We bought a house in 93. When we moved back to town, we just kicked out the renter.

So far so good--getting the house ready for winter, planning a sheep hunt and working on my resume.

Hey 300,
Scott Jones called me yesterday. I have Glock training this morning and there's a real good chance I'll get picked up in the next couple of weeks. Valdez most likely or possibly Pump 4
