Got to do a little pheasant hunting Saturday morning with Dad, we flushed 4 (2 hens) but didn't shoot any. . they are kind of scarce around here anymore. I dropped Dad off at home, he was going to work on a muzzleloader for my cousin and then shoot a doe for a landowner that we know ( elderly lady that loves venison) and I was off to do a little duck hunting with Wes. We both ended up have a pretty successful evening.( I'd say the muzzleloader is fixed).

Very nice! If you have a place to hunt wild pheasants, let me know if you want some help next year. I'm getting a pup in 2 weeks and will be looking to get him out as much as possible next year. I don't want or need to shoot, but would be more than willing to bring him over to see if he can put some birds up for your guys.

I originally thought the hen was a woody, because it flew in with 2. . .It gets a little confusing on the hens for me!

pretty rare here in Central Indiana, I've only killed 4 in the 20 + yrs I've been hunting geese.
