Happy freezer

I managed to fill the spike tag this year, good news because it was like mother hubbards cupboard inside my freezer. Of course we saw some nice bulls again beacuse we didn't draw the LE tag AGAIN, but then again any elk is a good elk.

As luck would have it I didn't have the camera along. I could take some pictures of the freezer paper packages with the spike rack on top...

Thanks guys. Saturday is the deer opener here and it's been raining cats and dogs down low and snowing up high since Sunday night. That could all make for some good hunting.

I had to go out and buy another little freezer - the big one is full. I got a whole lot more elk meat than that picture Moosie posted from my bull....
