Was there on the 1st one. Rode my bike to school as usual.
Had some hope when LA cleared up some and Nixon said 68 degrees please.
The EPA gave more hope. Zero growth in population was a goal.

Not to hopeful for you all any more.
I'm in my own little world now.

Annual chores include shoveling the mud out, picking up the trash and pressure blowing the dust and debris out of the concrete tunnel of the walking trail under the busy highway 191 Dieway, then cleaning the borrow pits and roadside ditches of cans, bottles, garbage, and other debris along a stretch of rural road.
It's not much work, but it makes one feel better that at least something has been contributed to make the earth a bit cleaner.
Saturday our community gets together for a clean-up of the highway ditches and public areas around this little town.
'Recommend just think of a small chore for clean-up, get 'er done, and you'll feel more like you've earned that beer in the evening!

Not all gloomy on this bright sunny day. Just an old redneck hippie/20yr Park Ranger.
Pumping clean well water with solar and helping some critters in my small world.
Trees & grass seed to plant this week for them. I'll build a fort to protect the base area.LOL

No elk here when it was homesteaded. Gone for 20 years. Dry farmed and over graized.
Then they were given another chance. 1st modern hunts in 1978.

Plenty now with water and maybe they will get some treats out of some work. Shade. A place to rest for a bit.
More trees to ad to the thousands I have planted.

Enjoy! I'll be long gone.
