Handgun hunting ammo

Interested in opinions on handgun hunting rounds in 9mm, 45acp, 10mm, or .357mag. I have a Javelina HAM hunt coming up and have been doing some research. Seems that some reviews on using defensive ammo like Hornady critical defense has yielded poor results. I ordered some of Hornady's new handgun hunter back in November and it is still showing on backorder until April now

Has anyone used a dedicated handgun/pistol caliber round that they would recommend for hunting Javelina?

Ive killed a huge bodied whitetail buck with .357 underwood ammo extreme penetrators. They would probably do quite well on javalina i would think. Theyre non expanding solid coppers that are basically supposed to be a happy medium between hollow points and hcfn.

I've killed deer with Hornady XTPs. They shed jackets, but they kill.

The 10mm or .357 would be my choice, Federal makes a great bonded bullet hunting load for each caliber if the Hornady's don't come through for you.

I'm taking it you don't reload.
My advice, look at the history books.
Lead semi wadcutters.
Buffalo Bore may have some loaded ammo that will work well for you.

Best design for 9mm is still the lead trunjucated cone.
Nothing to clog up to prevent expansion.

If shooting Factory ammo, Cor-Bon or Buffalo Bore.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was able to find some buffalo bore in 10mm to try out.
