Same hereI even run E tires on my Tacoma. I can get to the hwy. What's mileage? LOL
$1,700 for the set on my PUYeah there’s a little sticker shock with tires anymore. The same tires I got for $1000 out the door a few years ago are now $1500.
If it works for you ok but the gravel roads here in NV will eat those up leaving you high and dry.Zero chance that I would put E-rated tires on a half ton. Unless you’re doing heavy hauling, the C-rated tires are fine.
That’s great, but the OP said he didn’t live in NV any longer. If it works for you ok but the gravel roads here in NV will eat those up leaving you high and dry.
Nice rig. Had a similar one in the past, a '74 I think.View attachment 266794
6 ply tires I bought used. Truck is about 2/3 full in pic. Had 1 flat in 12 or 14 years. I only buy load range E for my trucks usually but the C rated won't pop at every obstacle. The tires on the truck bit the dust last summer with about 3/16 tread. mtmuley
One of these days I'll retire it from wood duty and freshen it up. mtmuleyNice rig. Had a similar one in the past, a '74 I think.
