Congrats on your new Vette. You only go around once and I always have felt a corvette was a must. I had a couple back in the 60’s and 70’s and kick my self every day for not hanging on to at least one of them. Enjoy your new ride.

Or a '71 hemi Cuda.
The fastest I have ever been on the ground was in a Mercedes AMG. He had us going 161 mph on a secondary road in Montana. They are an amazing sedan, but not a Corvette…Funny, My dad always told me he dreamed of owning a Cadillac on day. Then he ended up with enough money to buy a dealership of them but just kept driving his beat up, cow shit covered truck. I, However always like you dreamed of a Corvette. But then I got romanced by a Mercedes AMG. Its even more fun when the kids pull up against a 4 door sedan. They think they'll show the old guy how fast their car is. Except its a twin turbo AMG type S. Not quite as fast as yours but 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. Except mine is a AWD virtually no tire spin.
Enjoy the car. GOOD for you, OLD guys rule!
Matching hair, shoes, and socks
...fixedNice,awesome mid-life crisis!
I hate to break it to you shrap, but unless they find the fountain of youth, there's only two guys in this photo that qualify for a "mid" life crisis, and they're on the right side of the line... LOL

But sweet car nonetheless. Congrats, I hope you don't wrap it around a pole, though I suppose, there are worse ways to go.
at 40, I'm too busy for a crisis, and too broke, it's going to have to wait another decade or two, much like Shraps. I've heard it best called the 3/4 life crisis. Because you start to see that there is an end to the ride, and it's not as far away as you wish it was.I'll be 38 in a little over a week. Looks like I'm about due for my midlife crisis.

I’ve got enough guns left in the safe to buy 2 of those. I don’t want a Z06. This Z51 will go faster than any road around here is built for…
Just kidding @shrapnel Hope you enjoy your Vette. When I was a kid, my brother and I had a paper route and we would ride our bikes through town delivering papers. We fantasized owning a Corvette when we got old enough and wondered why any adult that had the money, would buy a Cadillac instead of a Corvette.
Today, kids are misguided and think that a 6.5 Creedmoor and a pipey rice grinder is some kind of cool. I am hoping for one of those losers to show up revving their 4 banger wanting to race…
I still have the GTO, a Chevy pickup and a Ford Thunderbird. The Cuda is for someone else’s garage…I can’t remember if it’s a ‘71 but my Best buddies step dad has one. He used to let us drive it, now he lets his grandkids.
