Looking through my gun safes, I realized that I have more guns than I can realistically shoot. Trying to determine if it’s a mid life crisis or just a crossroads, I decided it is just a crossroad.

I started selling some of my older and more collectible guns that I don’t shoot and thought I would see what I could get in trade.

I ended up with a 2023 Corvette 2LT with Z51 performance package and this car is a hoot to drive. Muzzle velocity is 0-60 under 3 seconds..

I can hardly wait to see that car in a photo on the tailgate picture thread. 😀

Everyone checking out the vette, whike I'm zooming on on the old bronco II. Thinking how jealous I am you guys don't salt the roads.
A good pal in HS had a rebuilt Bronco II. That was a fun little rig. Much cooler than the new ones.

I've seriously thought about trading some my collectable stuff, for a good ol suburban.

Good for you.

Nothing like a really nice fast car. Until you have one, you'll never know.

Nothing like pulling up next to some moron kid in their ( anti gun, anti hunter) Subura WRX who thinks they can beat you.
When I was a kid, my brother and I had a paper route and we would ride our bikes through town delivering papers. We fantasized owning a Corvette when we got old enough and wondered why any adult that had the money, would buy a Cadillac instead of a Corvette.

Today, kids are misguided and think that a 6.5 Creedmoor and a pipey rice grinder is some kind of cool. I am hoping for one of those losers to show up revving their 4 banger wanting to race…

Definitely not a mid-life crisis car.

Funny, My dad always told me he dreamed of owning a Cadillac on day. Then he ended up with enough money to buy a dealership of them but just kept driving his beat up, cow shit covered truck. I, However always like you dreamed of a Corvette. But then I got romanced by a Mercedes AMG. Its even more fun when the kids pull up against a 4 door sedan. They think they'll show the old guy how fast their car is. Except its a twin turbo AMG type S. Not quite as fast as yours but 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. Except mine is a AWD virtually no tire spin.

Enjoy the car. GOOD for you, OLD guys rule!
