Hello everyone, I'm from the Houston area and looking to start venturing out to other states to hunt animals that I have never hunted. I grew up hunting and fishing here in Texas, but never had to draw any tags for animals.

Lottery drawing systems for western states is new to me and have been learning a lot from this forum. My Father and I just drew out first tag this year for antelope and excited to go on our first western hunt. I have never hunted on public land. It's probably funny to ya'll, but if i wasn't fenced in I wouldn't know what to do . Trying learning how the rest of the country hunts and sounds a lot harder but fun. Looking forward to learning from ya'll!!

Welcome from Houston, and good luck this fall! Most likely there are a few threads on the pronghorn page about the specific unit you're in. The Wyoming hunt planner is actually a super useful tool for showing public vs private and (usually) legal access points.
