We are going to be in Great Falls in a couple of weeks. I am looking for ideas for things to do if we have a day to kill. Won't have much outdoor gear, so hunting or fishing aren't an option.

Giant Springs State Park and the Charlie Russell museum would both be worth checking out. Not too far from GF is the Rocky Mtn Front which is pretty dang spectacular even if you were to go on just a sightseeing drive and not hike.

Next door to the state park, I thought The Lewis & Clark interpretive center and trail was awesome. My 14yo son even abandoned his phone for a couple hours.

Visit the VFW in Black Eagle

Ding Dong Ditch some missile bases over by Conrad.

Punch the geese down at the park on the river.

Or rent a Kayak/Canoe and float in town.

G Funk is a fun town if you try hard enough.

The Voyagers minor league baseball games are fun to watch. They have a nice stadium and good ballpark food.

Fort Benton is 1/2 hour north and has lots of history.
