Gratuitous Bird and Dog Photos

@BrentD Congrats Brent! How about one of them being named "Cici, or Cece, or Ceci" You know, because they were delivered via (C- section) for one of the females? Just spit balling over here.

Born this morning by C section in sunny Southern California. 2 boys and 2 girls. One of them is coming home with me on or about Valentine's Day. Gotta road trip in the works.

Now, I really do have to pick a name. Suggestions welcome. 2024 is gonna be a big year.View attachment 306035
They sure are the color of Taffy! Had a very light colored female I named Taffy, almost 40 years ago now. She was a great dog.

Taste like chicken.
Just realized they are Huns :) I saw the feather stuck to the head of the one towards the center and thought they were a gambles quail or something like that. Didn't look close enough. Never have eaten a partridge either. Shot at a couple and have never connected. Congrats!

Final weekend success- Winnie's first wild Rooster (she got a scraggly FWP released rooster earlier this season). She did her part, flushing several more in easy range, but I didn't uphold my end of the deal. Called it a day after rocking 2 other roosters pretty hard that flew a good ways into private after being wounded.
Very happy with how she's been hunting in her first season and looking forward to many more days afield!
