I was offered, and I accepted a great job opportunity in Grand Junction. To say I am excited would be an understatement. Not only do I get off the front range, but I will only be 2 hrs from my elk unit. The most important thing for me though, is the fact that I will be able to afford for my wife to come home and care for our son, rather than her working and doing day care. I am very grateful for this job. Anyone know of any clean houses to rent? I have two labs.

Congrats.

You are correct, the bolded comment is the best part. My wife chose to become a full-time "domestic engineer" when our son was four years old. It was the best decision we (really she) ever made for the sanity of our home.

Congratulations on your success. Your wife will love being a stay home mom and your kids will be better for it. Mothers do such a good job being domestic engineers. And, congratulations on your new opportunity in Grand Junction. We designed a hospital there a few years ago. Great looking country. Never hunted there but maybe someday.

My son-in-law just got a job in Fruita. My daughter is 7 months pregnant with our first grandson, so I will be hunting several times a year in the Grand Junction area.

Congrats on the new job! There are plenty of houses for rent or own? I live in clifton, you should have no problem finding something to fit your needs. Welcome to the valley!
