It is that time of year when the ice starts coming off, so I got the pontoon out for my first float. It went pretty well with many fish caught, beautiful weather, and good company. Didn't find the big lunker browns I was after but I did catch quite a few bows...

Biggest one of the day, for me.

very nice! Grats on the fishing. It is tough to beat a nice day on the water. Thanks for sharing the pics.
 
I'm jealous! There's still a good foot or two of ice here. Going to be while before I can get the boat out. Great pictures and thanks for sharing!
 
Nice fish. Is that first fly called an autumn splendor? I had great success with one like that on the beaver head several years ago.
 
Fish were midging on the Yellowstone Friday, but I bet the water has muddied up by now.
 
FFMAD- it is an autumn splender. Black tail, green body, olive/tan hackle. Size 6.
