Went out tonight for about an hour and 45 minutes. We each got a limit. Momma was beating me 5-1 but I limited first this time. Beautiful evening no one was fishing but us. Real peaceful

I was curious where you were for a while, but between being able to hike in, the chunk rock banks, and flooded timber, I'm fairly confident I know what body of water you're fishing.

21 to start the day. I took a friend and his wife that I am getting into the outdoors. I took him antelope hunting last year and he harvested his first animals 2 doe antelope. Showed them how to clean the fish and they took them home. Momma and I went back and caught 3 more slabs before dark. Still all males. Females should be spawning any day if the weather doesn’t mess them up.

I grew up near St Louis, fished LOZ quite a bit, and lived in Rolla for 6 years. But that is not LOZ.

You are correct it is not LOZ. Funny thing is my boy and I found these 2 coves out mushroom hunting and this is the first time we have fished them. They are well worth the walk

It's a lake I've never fished, but it's always been on my list. Really want to go on a crappie & hybrid trip some day. Maybe next spring I'll schedule it for turkey & morel season, too.

We want to get a boat but with our HOA it is a pain can't be outside at all.

I feel your pain on that one. I hate living in an HOA. Looks like you don't need a boat though lol. Awesome job!

Probably the last ones this spring from the bank. Rain coming in tomorrow and I have to go back to work Monday. At least we ended strong with another limit
