You just need to get out with the original gopher guns in 22 long and 45-70. It was another nice day today and we went after gophers. I had an original 1886, Trapdoor Springfield 45-70, Winchester 1873 in 22 long and a first generation Colt in 38-40. My son and grandson contributed with a Montana Centennial in 45-70 and a 22 lever action. gophers were the losers...
