Good night at RMEF

So I’m on the local RMEF committee and we had our banquet last night. Boys were late getting there as 2 of them had baseball and basketball practice respectively. Had a great dinner, time for silent auction to close and middle son gets a pair of 10x42 bx4’s for $280, oldest son wins a Winchester wildcat .22. Good deal!! Then comes the live auction, I don’t bid on much as I’m working the auction and then the trip to Africa comes up and guess what I’m the winning bidder, guess I get to go to Africa. It’s always been a dream I never thought I’d achieve. Got it for a good deal. Then to top it all off last gun of the night was being raffled off a Weatherby vanguard 7mm rem mag with the weather proof stock and a leupold vx freedom 3x9x40 and guess who wins it yours truly. It was a good night. Wasn’t so excited about the trip last night as it was very surreal, but today I am bouncing off the walls. Also got a fire ring for my fire pit.
