Yep it was. There was a wrestling meet tonight and both my boys won by pinfall in the first period. It made me happy and also help me forget about the basement getting flooded for a little while. :grin:

LittleNut finished 3rd in the League tournement for B teamers tonight .

Well done son.

Now to bed so we get up early for a tournement tomorrow that TE will be in.

TE lost the championship match on points. So second place is where he stood. I could go on and whine about a couple things about it but TE is the one who should and he is being a way better sportsman than I am.

3 more wins for the boys the last 2 nights. TE won a tough one tonight in the higher weight class again. He weighs 145 and his opponent(sp) was 164. He won 11-9 after being down 8-3 and the previous night he won by pinfall.

LN won by pinfall again while being up 7-1.

TE is wrestling in the league finals Saturday.

Russ, I used to umpire Little League games and they were something else at times.(especially for me )

We were at a biddy match before and had parents yelling for their child to break a child's neck(mine). It can be bad when parents go overboard.

But watching the kids is way more fun than any pro sports I can think of.

Finals are postponed because of the snow storm that is expected.

What's happening with all this weight losing and dieting I heard about Fred? Why do they ask kids to loose the weight only to bump them down? Maybe I didn't understand it when Viperess was telling me about it.

Well Cindi the watching of the weight is over. Codie had to be at 146 for the league championships and he stayed there for it. Now he only has to stay under 154 for the districts. Him and another teammate are going in at 146 and 154 so they can eat what they want(almost).

Codie finished second at the 146 weight class for the league championships btw.

Both boys are wrestling in a tournement Sunday and then Codie will be at Districts next week.
