Use to turkey hunt every year when I was younger. Havnt turkey hunted in a few years. Finally went again this year, hopefully find time to go kill a second bird yet.

Does matter to me, I hunt public. The offhand comment probably doesn't concern someone who stacks them up on a private ranch.

First time turkey hunter in NM thanks to the great info of this site I harvested my first bull elk. So hopefully someone can help me with any tips on here for turkey . I'm watching so many videos and research because this is a whole new realm for me !

I don’t know about western birds but from experience the best way to learn turkey hunting is by turkey hunting. The difference between a turkey and elk is if you spook a turkey it won’t be 7 drainages away in 30 minutes.

I don't know, I think I've had some eastern turn into Rios they flew so far after I spooked them
