Give up on AZ?

Sitting on 6 elk points and 4 deer points in AZ but seriously debating on dropping it from my list of states. Living in MT I'm not looking for opportunity hunts but rather hunts with a reasonable chance at a fairly decent trophy. What would you guys do? Thinking I could take that money and focus on buying some decent ID tags on years I get a good spot in line.

That's a good point. I forgot about coues deer. Started with AZ because of the late rifle elk odds but those have went way downhill in 5 years.

I had a great hunt with 6 elk points. Saw tons of bulls and a couple really nice ones. I would go hunt your points on a late season tag.

Look at muzzleloader hunts as well as rifle hunts.

like mentioned above... 4 pts could get you some decent coues deer tags... You should be able to draw some late season bull hunts as well as some LO hunts. Good luck!
