The socks I wear are too expensive to use for that. Would rather use several $1 bills. But maybe I could send the socks in to Darn Tough for their warranty?

Well crap! Another A zone season come and gone. All of our local bucks will be back within the next week or so including the nice 3 point I've been chasing unsuccessfully.

As much as I hated the heat, PO, and the bugs in Azone, I could count on seeing deer.

Filled 10 tags in a row for a while, the 80's. And I would draw D7 by the cabin along with an A tag til 2009 when I moved. Always filled at least one of them .

At my place, a friends ranch, BS, FHL I would find deer in Azone.

That was the last time I filled 2 deer tags,2009,in the same state.

I have filled 2 deer tags in 13 years in NM and 9 elk tags.

Our deer population has been in steep decline since fng started dumping lions up here. My last local buck was 2019. 2020 the fires drove out or killed most of the animals, including the deer. 2021 everyone gave them a year to recover some. This year there were a lot of young bucks but all of the mature bucks were very hard to hunt.
