From the days of buying fine rifles in department stores, without background checks!

The best of 1970's rifle building, offered by Montgomery Ward!

Westernfield 720B EHM in 30-06

Built by Heym in West Germany.

Receiver is a Zastava built, intermediate length, large ring Mauser.

Bottom metal is steel and has a release lever, as pictured.

Safety is a thumb-wing style, just like JC Higgins 50/51

This rifle is almost mint. It has a couple scratches in the walnut and bluing wear on the muzzle which the pictures show well.

It has a few safe dings in the wood and Leupold scope.

I have reason to believe it has not been fired, as I cleaned A LOT of cosmoline grease off the action and out of the bore.

Stock appears to be nicely figured French Walnut. No cracks anywhere.

Barrel is 24". Missing the rear sight. Bore is mint.

LOP is 14.25"

I have not fired it, due to the condition of it, but have cycled ammo through it at slow, medium, and fast speeds. 100% feeding and ejection.

Scope is a period correct Leupold 3-9x40 Vari-XII with the arched Leupold brand in Buehler bases and rings. Scope has some safe dings. Optics are excellent.

Please look at all the pictures twice and let me know if you have questions.

$950 shipped to your FFL from private individual as seen. Includes rifle, scope, sling. Shipped insured in a hard plastic case.

Does it have the receiver cut for strip clips.
Just comparing it to my brother he got from my late father.
