.17 HMR between the eyesLove wild pig, one of the more underrated meats. Too many guys I know in the Deep South just toss them in a swamp rather than deal with cleaning them.
What are you using to put them down once you have them trapped- 22LR?
Running wild all over Louisiana. On my list of wild game to try out. Difficult to piece together a no-pay hunt
Us to, we fill up as much as we can before the heat sets in.That is the main critter that keeps my freezer full. We eat a lot of wild pork at my house.
Pulled pork, yes indeed!!!We eat a bunch of them, usually smoked and pulled, on sandwiches or tortillas. Delicious.
For the price of a NR license and an Annual Public Hunting permit, you can chase them year around on National Forest land in East Texas with no tags and no limits. And there are a bunch of them!On my list of wild game to try out. Difficult to piece together a no-pay hunt
God's grocery store, is what we say!For the price of a NR license and an Annual Public Hunting permit, you can chase them year around on National Forest land in East Texas with no tags and no limits. And there are a bunch of them!
What do you have in mind on the hunt in Wyoming?Anyone willing to trade some help on a hog hunt for some help with a hunt in central wyo?
There are a lot of places to get a really good pig hunt for little of nothing. We trap most of our pigs to catch more at a time. Texas has plenty of places they will allow pig hunting for free with a paid deer hunt.I’m game for anything actually. We bow hunt for elk early September in the high country. The south end of the wind rivers. East side. Popo agie wilderness. Antelope mid October west of Casper. When we draw. Deer, well we’re going to the desert this year.
