Leupold BX-4 Rangefinding Binoculars

Freaking Amazing!!!

Wow that is incredible. I'm not an art person at all but that looks awesome even to me. She is extremely talented!

aaah - yeah. What a talent, dad. I'm a firm believer in genetically determined behavior. She has the gift, just like Charlie Russell.

Wow that is awesome!!! The shading, the details in the wrinkles of the shirts and faces. Absolutely awesome. There isn't a thing out of proportion. There are many artists out there that aren't even in the same league as she is now. Wow!

What talent!!!! So much detail that you only see in a photo. That alone should get her into any art school in the world. Prowd papa and teacher. Congrats

Song: The Gift
Sung by: Ian Tyson
CD: Cowboyography
Written by: Ian Tyson
Transcribed by: M. Lawrence

Verse 1.
In old St. Louis over in Missouri
The Mighty Mississippi it rolls and flows
A son was born to Mary Russell
And it starts the legend every cowboy knows

Verse 2.
Young kid Russell he was born to wander
Ever westward he was bound to roam
Just a kid of sixteen in 1880
Up in wild Montana he found his home

Chorus:
God made Montana for the wild man
For the Peigon and Sioux and Crow
But He saved his greatest gift for Charlie
Said get her all down before she goes---Charlie
You gotta get her all down cause she's bound to go

Verse 3.
God hung the stars over Judith Basin
God put the magic in young Charlie's hand
All was seen and all remembered
Every shining mountain every longhorn brand

Verse 4.
He could paint the light on horsehide shining
Great passing herds of the buffalo
And a cowcamp cold on a rainy morning
And the twisting wrist of the Houlihan throw
Repeat Chorus:

Verse 5.
When the Lord called Charlie to His home up yonder
He said Kid Russell I got a job for you
You're in charge of sunsets in old Montana
Cause I can't paint them quite as good as you
And when you're done---we'll go out and have a few
And Nancy Russell will make sure it's just two

Repeat Chorus:

At the end of her 8th Grade year (last year of junior high) she created this drawing. She is consistently good. The scary part is she still has all of high school left to improve, not to mention what she might be able to do in a quality college art program.

Fantastic!

My pictures are suitable for the "Hangman" game! (For those of you less than 40, it is a drawing game with stickmen!) LOL!

Is there a better feeling in the world than seeing your kids succeed at something that is important to you? You must go through the day with a smile from ear to ear and very much deserved!

Coming from a guy who doesnt have an artistic or musical bone in his body, I can certainly appreciate the talent!
