Football General Talk

I'll be your huckleberry... you name your team, I name KC. They both enter the SB, ill place $100 KC beats your team.

I'll place that for anyone willing to place a value for your talk. 😅😉
I just bought $100 bucks ofTrumps crypto. I'll place that against your Ben Franklin.
You win, you get what you get.

If a trump crypto is what you place as value for your talk, sure. Name your team... I'm glad it's not a Kamala crypto though a Trump crypto doesn't say much for the value you place for your team. 🤣

Name your team.

Gambling is for fools.
"Gambling" with money one does not have is for fools. I agree.
If you don't have, I wouldn't want you to be foolish.

Gambling for the enjoyment of the game, is just that, enjoyment. Vegas, Draft Kings, all the items and g/c $ I've donated over the years here, on HT, for games has been for pure enjoyment.

No worries, Hem, you're off the hook.

Anyone who is financially competent, the offer stands. ;)

edit: one PM Bills vs Chiefs if they both make it to the Championship round (oops) Amended. Adjusted to a $100 Scheels emailed g/c.

I'll open it for one other but that's my "enjoyment" limit. On top of the donations placed for the 2024/5 Hunt Talk Road to the Super Bowl.

I love watching Allen succeed. I remember when he was coming out of Wyoming. He was repeatedly bashed by all of the draft pundits for his poor accuracy.

Given Elway the GMs propensity for big, tall cannon armed QBs it was widely thought Denver would trade up for him. A Broncos forum I follow a bit were appalled at the thought of Allen, viewing him as the next Jeff George or Ryan Leaf.

I love watching him prove everyone wrong, and humbly. He strikes me as a really good kid

He's a big boy that pushes through for TDs on his own. Surprised he hasn't been beat up with such action. Most star QBs will run for corners. Allen goes right through like Henry.

Solid player. Definitely one of the premium QBs of current.

Ravens clicking closer and closer to a TD... :)

Bills win...minus the really conservative play calling in the 3rd quarter they played a real good game. Andrews I feel for him. Hate to see it! Even if it's against my favorite team.

"While Houston was undoubtedly frustrated by the calls, that is not the reason it lost.

The offensive line was invisible for extended stretches as the Chiefs sacked Stroud eight times. Multiple promising drives were cut short by sacks as the Texans quarterback had little time to throw throughout the game.

What's more, Houston's special teams were terrible.

Kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn missed two field goals—one of which was blocked—and an extra point. The kickoff coverage team also allowed a long return to start the game that set up a field goal, and Kansas City's final field goal came on a short field after a poor punt.

The Chiefs are attempting to become the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls, and any close calls that benefit them are going to draw additional attention as other fanbases become more frustrated with their constant winning.

Still, the Texans didn't make enough plays to escape a road game in Kansas City with a win."

The take from the Athletic - data shows no difference between Chiefs flags and others. But there are specific moments where Mahomes seems to be inviting a hit that could draw a flag.
