Lions 2025 are going to be an interesting follow. Assuming coaching staff turnover (bad), but getting key defensive players back (good).
Run it back and hope Goff can get them over the hump, but I have a feeling this may have been their best chance.

I have a firm line. No team that has not yet won a Super Bowl can win a Super Bowl before the Vikings do. So, I am fine with any remaining teams except the Bills winning. FWIW - I would like to see him Mahomes 3-peat.

I don't get the talk here about how the Chiefs are the team to beat to win it all. They didn't deserve to win yesterday and it's on par with their whole season. The Texans had a mega collapse in the 4th. So many games they could have lost and I just feel that eventually one game here they will just fall short. I know I won't be betting on them going forward and likely betting on whoever plays them thinking their time is a coming for a loss.

They are the 2 x reigning champ, until someone proves they can beat the Chiefs it’s theirs to lose. Like it or not.
Remember what they looked like late in the season last year? They appeared to be leaking oil badly, and then viola- SB.
They aren’t fooling me again- they are the favorite to me until the clock hits zero and they actually lose.
Teams don't "deserve" a win or loss. They earn it by playing the game. mtmuley

You can't make a mistake against a champion. The Chiefs have the experience and discipline to take advantage of the opportunities they're given. I don't want to see them win 3 straight, but somebody is going to have to rise to the occasion to prevent that. It'll be fun to watch it play out.

Champions have another gear. We see it with all the greats no matter the sport. Jordan, Woods; hell they didn’t call Reggie Jackson Mr. October because of what he did in the regular season.
At this point I'm not rooting for a team anymore. Mostly a player. The NFC Final will be tough for me. Unless Philly wins then I have to go with Daniels. AFC I am cheering for Mahomes. Kid is amazing. 3 in a row and Brady can fade away. mtmuley

Texans could have won that game. But they don't quite have the pedigree to match Chiefs. Ravens or Bills have the talent and experience. I'm torn between these two teams. I'd like to see Allen outgun Mahomes, but also like to see Henry stiff arm the Chiefs to couch.

I agree with everyone on until the chiefs lose its theirs to lose. But look at the season and the stats around their numbers. It's a weird year for them and unheard of for a team to go 15-2 with their numbers. Vooooooodoooooooooooo Indian Chiefs and Taylor Swift witchcraft!
