I don't get the McCarthy slurring & think you have to subtract his years indentured to Jones.

I did not intend for that to be a slur on McCarthy and I’m sorry if you took it that way. With the packers and with the cowboys McCarthy did not do a bad job, but he did not live up to the standards of those franchises. With the current organizational structure of the Chicago Bears whoever the next head coach is most likely will not succeed And being this his third (potentially) head coaching job that he doesn’t “succeed” at I have a hard time seeing anyone giving him another head coaching gig.

At both the packers and the cowboys the upper management entered into lucrative contracts with aging quarterbacks and those contracts limited the ability to put players on the field to support those quarterbacks. I don’t think the blame can solely be placed on McCarthy, but he takes the fall.

Chiefs have definitely had several questionable calls go their way. That last personal foul for roughing the passer and the one spot of the ball for the Texans just short of the first down are two of them.

I’m saying that while rooting for the Chiefs to three-peat.

Some calls that went KC’s way early on but their defense definitely legitimized the win.
