Football General Talk

GB not resting starters, per say, but fairly conservative on keeping injured players out. They’re really grinding on Jacobs thought - whatever…it’s not paying off yet.

Drake London needs to trip over the water boy.

I don't wish him serious injury... though just a temp injury that takes him out of the game - quickly. As in before his first INCOMPLETE pass.

Sheesh! How FFL has spun the thrill of the game! Haha!

Who should they fear?
Looks like the have the talent and confidence, but also fortitude.
Well, they have have had that look before. So I would say they should fear Atlanta, for sure. And maybe a bunch of others.

But I'm ready for them to break my heart and that's okay. I did not think they would be good enough that I would have any heart in the game at all by this point in the season. Right now they are tied for the best record in football. That, in itself, is pretty amazing.

What would qualify as "heart breaking" now? Anything short of winning the Superbowl?

All I can say is that I am looking forward to next week's game with a lot more interest and excitement than I anticipated, 4 months ago. I am very happy to be wrong about this.

He got it pretty close.

Skol.

The Vikings are once again good enough to break our hearts, in the end.
The Vikings let the packers stay in the game. I don’t know if that’s a good thing for the packers and a bad thing for the Vikings or vice versa. But the final score should have been a lot more lopsided than what was on the scoreboard.

And now they are two of my favorite QBs to watch. I didn't see Baker this week but last week, he was on fire and nearly won the game single handedly on just sheer will power.

You gotta shed that defeatist attitude.
Jefferson will single handily(😁) get the ball to the end zone.

SB...Bills/Vikings

Josh Allen takes them.

Losing to the Bills, might be the one thing I would call heart breaking.

Beating the Chiefs in the SB, that would be like Karma, or something. But if not the Vikes winning it all, then give me the Lions.

I'm not a NFC guy.
At this juncture I choose a team based upon " a feel".
If the Bills get eliminated i " could" be rooting Vikings.😁

See, you are forecasting a heartbreak.

I would be ok with Josh Allen and the Bills beating the Vikings...well sort of ok.

If the Vikings ever win it all, there is an unlimited amount of pent up emotion that is going to be released.

Uh...once in the SB...may the best team win. My last post explains.
But I love those teams that fly slightly under the radar and kick ass in the playoffs.
