Football General Talk

I hate the strip, but love downtown. Unfortunately, Derrick Stevens is trying to make it a mini version of the strip. May ultimately have to go to Reno, but not quite yet.

I spent a scary morning in Reno once. I'll just stay up and those hills at Gellar is staring at.

Don't know the difference between the strip and the downtown. I thought it was the same thing. Obviously, I don't have a lot of experience.

All I will say is Frisco must be really bad, if anyone prefers Vegas, to it.

The several times I had to go to Vegas for a convention of some sort, nearly every time I witnessed a husband and wife arguing about one of them losing too much money gambling. This would be, at say, 7AM in the morning as my day was beginning and presumably their day was ending.

My wife and I went to Reno for part of our honeymoon, many years ago. It had a better feel to it than Vegas has ever given me.

Frisco is just a run of the mill 4th ring suburb of Dallas. Nothing wrong with that, just not a great tourist destination- but likely a much better place to live than LV.

I am way too cheap and crowd averse to enjoy Vegas, but I have been there twice during the first two rounds of March Madness- that can be a good time if you like that sort of thing.

Downtown is more fun than the strip for me personally, kind of seems like it’s a bit like what Vegas used to be back in the day.

People watching is my #1 thing while I’m here.
