Football General Talk

As your fellow NFC North travelers will tell you - the 20% of games he actually plays healthy will be amazing and then set you up for the heartbreak of the other 80% where he is hurt. Some players are just injury magnets - he is one of those.
Fingers crossed! My good friend is a Vikings fan as well. Week 7 was a fun one at his place! I don't mind the Vikings. I just VERY much dislike the Fudge Packers!

I loved Favre (the player, not necessarily the person) even as a Packer. His back and forth with John Randle was a wonderful part of the teams’ shared history. It was fun to have him here for one cool year.

But I have hated Roger’s since Cal and have absolutely zero interest in him wearing purple. I would probably drop my season tickets if he came to MN.

A brief though thrilling Week 11 highlight video. It's an NFL 6 minute production thus the reason they're stingy to present on external websites. Worth the watch though.

I second this, but I don't have season tickets to drop.

Favre was great in purple. I loved him and I'll never forgive Sean Peyton for what he did. Ever.

The most likely scenario is that Rogers retires after this year. His performance the last couple of years that he's played hasn't been inspiring and his personal antics aren't making him friends. Truthfully he'll be lucky to not be benched before the end of this year.

I think my Lions have this and possibly 2 more years before their window closes to get to/win a Super Bowl.

As a Michigan fan I'm really hoping that J.J. McCarthy has a really good career and is able to force his detractors to eat crow.

Oh, and Dak won't be a Cowboy next year.

One cool and one rough year, after the bounty loving Saints darn near killed him with the officials blessing.

I defended Rogers for years. Stopped a few years before he left the Packers. No way the Vikings would take him now--the other Jets castoff is doing OK and showing some athletic ability lately too. Just needs to avoid the Favre like "what the h#LL was he thinking on that throw" tendencies to force it at times. They aren't going far due to their O line issues this year anyway but we can still hope! Could have beat the Lions played them well. A lot better year so far than many expected. Depth and age start to catch up to them late in the season though so will see if they can keep it up. Helped them (and everyone else in Da North) to have the AFC south as their conference to run through this year! Looking forward to to the return of Kirko chains!

Snow globe football and it appears Bears have the momentum! Nothing like a great heavy snow football game!

13 / 18. Don't mean to throw spoilers towards delayed Amazon viewed games
Don't worry. I'm not offended. It amazes me how far behind Amazon is. I can see the score on Espn or NFL's phone app and Amazon is way behind. Not sure if that's just me, and some sort of spooling issue or what.
