Football General Talk

So, while we watch Safford start the comeback, is there a group consensus on the Raiders winning the lottery for McDaniels after all these years of teams making runs at him?

I can't deny that I wish the Vikings were the ones to grab him. I'm sort of in the box of not liking any of the head coach candidates. But I also don't know much about any of them.

My 2 cents.

Brady: I grudgingly came to appreciate his greatness. He is the GOAT. There are quarterbacks that throw as nice or better ball than him. There has never been a better leader of teammates than him. The record speaks for itself.

Tonights game. I fully expect Stafford and the Rams to find a way to lose to the 49's. They tried their damnedest to do that last week. I like and dislike a few players on each team... so won't fret much either way.
This^^ on Brady.
He learned how to take a hit and prolong his career. Sure, folks are tired of him, but the man brought it. Careers are determined by skill and circumstance...just the way it goes.

I’d take Burrow’s legacy over Stafford’s.

It's pretty safe to say the first couple of chapters are easily better. The Bengals played a hell of a game and no small part of that was his play.

It's strange to hear, what appears to be coming from Vikings fans, about quarterback play. Best thing Cousins has ever done is Sleep Number commercials.

He's not as grand as he seems....Broncos fans

Everyone has a legacy. Some are just better than others.

Burrow's: Led LSU to a national championship. Heisman trophy winner. Number one overall draft pick. Led team to Super Bowl in second year in NFL after coming back from an ACL injury.

That is more legacy already than most players manage.

I hope everyone keeps thinking so. I think he is pretty damn good. Maybe good enough. Right now, the problem is definitely NOT Cousins. But you are free to say otherwise. :)

After back to back Mahomes v. Allen and Mahomes v. Burrows, this poor qb play on both sides is hard to watch.

I was thinking the same. Also, the Bengals should like their chances with either team.

I was seeing some stuff earlier that made it seem like McDaniels is a lock for Vegas, and Harbaugh a lock for Miami
