It’s been a while since I enjoyed watching a halftime show. Looking at the list now the last performers I liked were The Who in 2010. Working back from there we had Springsteen, Tom Petty, Prince, The Rolling Stones, and Paul McCartney. That was a heck of a run. I guess I’m showing my mid 40s age. My kids had to tell me who Kendrick Lamar is.

I rarely watch the half time show. The last one I bothered to sit through was the wardrobe malfunction. mtmuley

Thankfully, the commercials tend to take center stage when the game is not rolling. Some like 'em others don't care for 'em - in the end, a good break from the tube for vittles or both. It's the cream of the crop for commercial advertising - enjoyable to see how much value is placed into creativity to captivate the audience.
Then, it's back to football.
This should be a really good game!

He should have retired a few years ago and joined the broadcasting crew. Now? He comes off more as a has been grasping straws. He was pretty darn good at one time.

Spoke with a couple guys who paid $5,500 each for seats along the goal line...

They save up each year for this ONE event! What rifles, handguns, hunt, scuba liveaboard, I would leap on vs some 5'05" guy at half time who makes an amazing amount of cash-ola! I've been to a handful of general season games in my younger years... more to oogle over the cheerleaders (yep - YOUNGER years) thinking I would be the coolest to get a phone #... never did.

Recently went to a CFL game - That was really interesting! I dig their penalties! For instance, NFL, for some dumb reason, penalties offset each other. Roughing the passer vs offsides. CFL, the penalty is calculated and any additional goes for that team. I dig that and do not understand why Goodell doesn't implement that into the NFL game play.

Don't know who's watching currently though that tribute video to Jimmy Johnson was pretty darn cool. Brings a human value beyond the game. Very cool!
