Florida StingRays!

The trip to pensacola Florida was a success I would say. If it was not so far from the mountains I might think about living there. I really like the fact that they are a red state and their governor is awesome. The stingrays we did shoot, we had them frozen and shipped to our house in Idaho. Cook them the other night and they were awesome, blackened stingray with jalapeño sausage rice.

they really don’t have a taste, the cow nose rays were a firmer meat, southern was a little bit softer like a trout. But almost no taste.

Isn’t that the truth. Going to Florida a few times a year reminds me of what life felt like a couple years ago.
My wife tries her best to convince me no less than a dozen times a week to move there.
Fishing is awesome along with the weather and just the general laid back mood.

Nice red. Solid mangrove snapper as well. Dont know if its too late for this but redfish on the half shell is a solid meal.
