Hey there! My friends call me Heff, though my name is Rich. I am very new to big game hunting. I just got my hunter education completed 4 years ago so I could hunt waterfowl and upland game with my bestest buds. It wasn't until last year that I even considered big game hunting, again because my buddies wanted to. I went elk hunting with one of them last year and had a blast and enjoyed every minute of it. My uncle warned me that once I start elk hunting, Im gonna get addicted to it. Sure enough, he was right. I am itching to get out and shoot my first every archery elk this year. I like to stay optimistic, glass half full, kind of person. I am excited to interact and network with many of you and learn from you through your experiences. Keep an eye out for me in the forums.
