Obama scoreboard taunted and ridiculed 'losers' for 8 years....awesome legacy.
Our perceptions differ. My blindness would not let me see that. All I saw was olive branches rejected by babies.
The pendulum swings.
And those who have it on their side always want the other side to join them or, at the very least, to temper the zeal with which they are pulling back. Because they know the hell they are eventually going to pay when it comes around.
But if they were truly concerned, they would, rather than calling on the other side to change their ways, themselves consider a little thing called magnanimity while they have it on their side. That is broad shoulders. And manly. And on the verge of extinction.
Alas, I don't think that will ever happen. Just as I see the left as the side that always has the olive branch out, people like NHY keep pointing back to the last eight years and see something completely different. He sees some overbearing liberal shoving shit down our collective throats, while I see a poor SOB who was left a platter of shit by a preceding eight years of stupidity, and who was stalled at every turn by a bunch of babies who would not take yes for an answer if it came from that overbearing liberal.
The view from "there" is so much different than the view from "here".
So, just remember, when it comes around, as it will, there will be hell to pay if there is no magnanimity now. And guess what? I will be there on the race to the bottom in an effort to win. I will cut off my own nose to spite my own face, so long as I can get my boot on the neck of those bastards who gloated and reveled in their temporary station.
And the pendulum will swing again. Someday it will stop swinging. And, much to the chagrin of both sides, it won't be on either side. The left wing and the right wing will belong to the same bird, as they always have. But the bird will be dead. So fking be it. Want to play? Let's play.
Otherwise, let's see an olive branch.
Nah, never mind. Too late. I'll just hide and wait. I'm patient like that.
