First Euro

Here is my first attempt at a Euro. It was from my sons boar from Texas from a few weeks back. I am happy with how it turned out.


 
I'm guessing you boiled since it only took you that amount of time. I've always been curious to try burying it or doing the beetles. Good work!

I wish I knew how to imbed on here. My head was still a little frozen when I started. The nose cartilage didn't come out great and I felt like I had to work harder to get the meat off with the pressure washer than he did. I also broke the bottom part of the nose off but I was able to glue it back on. This may be because my head was still frozen when I put it in. It took a long time to get the water up to a boil.

He mentions full boil but I have read that simmer is better and easier on the bones. Keeping track of the teeth was interesting also.

It wasn't terrible, I am glad my wife was gone for the weekend because I am pretty sure she would have puked watching me do this.
