First Bear

Long story short I've been wanting to shoot a bear for about 6 years...kinda semi-obsessed. However I only become obsessed for brief periods when I don't have anything else for which to hunt. This was my second spring bear hunt and now I think I'm gonna be super obsessed. Word is that most bears in the Blue Mountains are some kind of color phase. However I don't know if this is a cinnamon or a blonde? Whatever he is I love it!! We nicknamed him big red

That is an awesome looking bear. Congrats on him. I would say 75% of the bears I see in the blues are color phase of some sort. Generally blonde, that one you have is a awesome color.
